Eldis Interactions: empowerment of women and girls

This Interactions guide on women and girls’ empowerment aims to keep you up to date with development research processes as they happen. The guide focuses on collaborative research being done by IDS and a range of global partners on three gender-related themes: effective organised activism against gender-based violence, the health of women and girls in low income urban settings and the visibility of unpaid care work in public policy. The research is being undertaken in twelve countries between 2012 and 2016.
