Equal by right: The Uganda women’s agenda 2010 – 2016

In 2010 FOWODE embarked on the development of the women’s agenda to create a tool to inform political parties about the concerns of women in Uganda. Surveys were conducted and consultative meetings were held.

The agenda covers: Democracy and governance; economic empowerment; human rights and the law, health, education, et al as well as institutional mechanisms for the achievement of gender equality
