Gender Focused Responses to HIV/AIDS in Swaziland

Swaziland has one of the highest sero – prevelence of HIV in the world and available sentinel surveillance data show that the infection rate is rising. Statistics indicate that more women than men are infected partly as result of gender inequality. The objective of the report is to present an analysis of gender focused responses to HIV/AIDS with emphasis on the specific needs of women infected and affected by the virus in Swaziland.
