Good governance and gender accountability: Curriculum for training civil society organizations

This curriculum is designed for training civil society organizations at local level in Uganda to enable them to conduct grassroots civic education. The overall objective is to enhance good governance and gender accountability at the local level. The two day workshops are primarily intended to build capacity in civic organizations.
The training curriculum guides trainers on the steps to be taken and methods to be used to conduct civic education. Through the training the knowledge and skills of trainers is enhanced in concepts of political pluralism, participation and representation as well as the rule of law. There is training in facilitation methods as well as the planning of civic education.
