Good Practices in Legislation on “Harmful Practices” against women

This is a report of an Expert Group Meeting held on 26-29 May 2009 in Ethiopia. Particular attention is paid to female genital mutilation, so called “honour” crimes, acid throwing, stove burning and harmful practices related to marriage, particularly forced marriage, child marriage, bride price and dowry.
