Governance & Gender Accountability- Curriculum for training local councilors

The curriculum is designed for training workshop of local councilors. the overall objective of the project is to contribute to the enhancement of democratic governance and gender accountability at the local level. The project of enhancing democratic governance and gender accountability is being implemented.

The training is critical because many local councilors get elected and do not get opportunities to receive traininh on different issues that would make them effective and efficient in the councils. As a result, some are unable to fulfil their obligations in accordance to the Local government Act.
