Governance, Peace and Security (GPS) programme 2009 – 2014

Peace, security and good governance and strong political relations are critical for regional co-operation and integration.

The Governance, Peace and Security Programme is one of the programme areas of the SADC Council of Non-governmental Organisations.

The GPS programme seeks to contribute to the promotion of democracy, peace and good governance in SADC in order to ensure that people who live in member countries live peaceful and secure lives and to foster an environment for sustainable development and poverty eradication.
