Holistic approach to poverty and hunger eradication through the promotion of the green economy

With climate change negatively affecting our planet, it is clear that the old ways of animal and crop management are no longer sustainable. New methods of management must be introduced in order to stave off the effects of climate change. It is clear that in Zimbabwe, women are the key to introducing these changes. The Ministry has embarked on a campaign to teach rural communities, through women, how to manage their crops and livestock more effectively.
