Five Years of Achievement in the City of Johannesburg. The Municipal Systems Act states that the Integrated Development Plan must include a vision for the long term development of the municipality and development strategies must be aligned with national and/or provincial sectoral plans and planning requirements. The City has since 2006 reviewed the IDP on an annual basis.
