This document is an attempt at fleshing out an idea of moulding people from diverse origins into one, as well as cultural practices and languages into one, within a democratic framework that can absorb and mediate conflicts without oppression and injustice. It is a call to all to embrace the spirit of a democratic non-racial and non-sexist South Africa.

The educational strategies are predicated on the notion that values cannot be legislated. They include ensuring equal access to education, putting history back in the curriculum, promoting anti-racism and nurturing a culture of communication, amongst others.
