National strategy for gender development

Tanzania recognises that gender inequality is a major obstacle to the socio economic and political development of its people. The Ministry has facilitated the formulation of the Women and Gender Development Policy. This national strategy highlights issues of concern and exposes the challenges ahead and provides guidance.
