Part of the story: 10 years of the South African National Editors’ Forum

Many of the people who founded the South African National Editors’ Forum ten years ago, operated in it and helped it flourish, were in the centre of a story that is important for our country. The media in South Africa are there fore obliged to strive for the goals spelled out in the national Constitution. Sanef is a forum that uses moral persuasion to improve the quality of journalism in South Africa, to transform the industry and to hold up media forum as a vital pillar of democracy.
