Protection of the African refugees and internally displaced persons

The African Commission on Human and People’s Rights, within the context of its programmes of activities, convened a seminar on protection of the African Refugees and Internally Displaced persons.

These main issues were debated:

• Reviewing the general picture of government and non-government action in favour of refugees
• The problems of African refugees with special reference to women and children
