Reproductive rights: An unacknowledged casualty of conflict in Sri Lanka

This work looks at the recognition of conflict impact on health research and reproductive health in conflict and displacement settings.  Research was carried out in conflict affected districts in Sri Lanka addressing key issues in women’s reproductive health using a rights framework.  The life cycle approach was used looking at issues such age at puberty, age at marriage, age at first live birth, knowledge of contraception, location of childbirth, domestic violence, abortion and informed choice.
