SADC framework for achieving gender parity in political and decision making positions by 2015

The participation of women in political and decision making positions is one of the critical areas of concern in the SADC region and commitment has been demonstrated at the highest political level. A table illustrates the proposed actions by governments, civil society organisations and the private sector, as well as time frames for the operationalization of this strategy.
