SAWID 2007: From Dialogue to Development: Women Uniting to Eradicate Poverty

The South African Deputy President, Phumzile Mlambo Nqcuka, addressed SAWID and commented on the strides made by government in meeting the MDGs. She examined the complexities of poverty in South Africa and that any approach should be women-centred. Various other inputs at the forum are covered including young women and the girl child.
