This booklet is a guide for women and men and young people in relationships within the context of HIV and AIDS. It explains what sexual and reproductive rights are and their relevance in marriage as well as their link with HIV and AIDS. The booklet responds to the fact that in Zambia the HI virus is mostly transmitted by sexual intercourse between men and women and women and girls are most at risk because of their position in society and the lack of regard for their human rights therefore human rights plays a part in mitigating the impact of HIV. The link between violence and HIV is clarified.
