The Sigrid Rausing Trust Annual Report 2015/16

Over 20 years the Sigrid Rausing Trust has awarded 250 million pounds in grants to organisations around the world. We have seen significant changes in these years. The human rights movement is stronger and more dispersed. The lesbian and gay rights movement has also turned global.

The Trust supports this work and has become a foundation stone for human rights in the world. It provides long term core funding, unlike many donors. It also places emphasis on leadership and clarity of thought. We believe funding is most effective when grantees decide how to use the funds to promote human rights goals.
