Sister Namibia turned 25 in June 2014. It is a feminist and women’s rights organisation located in Windhoek, Namibia. This issue is a serious reflection on and evaluation of the past 25 years of the realities of women and other minority groups in Namibia since independence. The focus is on legal realities 25 years ago and legal reform in Namibia and there is a summary of a report on LGBTI people. Some other topics raised include: the relevance of feminism; a male view on gender equality and women’s safety.
