This booklet is a simplified version of the Domestic Violence Act 2010 of Uganda which aims to provide for protection and relief for victims of domestic violence and punishment of perpetrators of domestic violence.

The booklet summarises the Act and uses simple language and is meant as a resource for those promoting community activism against gender based violence.
