This publication looks at what a constitution is, and at Swazi women and the draft constitution. There are concerns about some aspects such as the king placing himself above the constitution and potential conflict between the common law and Swazi customary law. It examines property rights of spouses and women’s participation in decision making. Customary law is also defined.
