Prevalence of violence against women, especially intimate partner violence is relatively high in the Western Cape Province. This pamphlet contains the findings of the Western Cape Gender Violence Indicators project conducted by Gender Links. It covers the background, effects and summary finding on IPV, rape and sexual harassment as well as summaries on response and support and conclusions. Effort needs to be directed towards addressing the factors which trigger violence against women.
