Women’s Media Watch is a critical feminist advocacy and media monitoring body that aims to challenge sexism, racism, classism and homophobia in the Southern African media. Media consumers need to be trained to challenge and change the media. Community media producers also need to be trained to interact with the mainstream media consumer to report from their point of view. The publication looks at interviewing skills,media literacy and explores power relations.
