Financing for women’s rights

This publication examines financing for women’s rights organisations. The last century has seen broad shifts in the status of women. Surprisingly, women’s rights organisations function with very little financial support.

Mobilising more resources for women’s right’s organising is a collective responsibility. A diverse array also of private sector actors in development financing and philanthropy. Finally, women and girls is a priority in every funding sector.
