Women and girls empowerment-Projcet- WOGE (2012-2015): Final report

The goal of the WOGE project was to contribute to poverty reduction by strengthening women’s and girls voices for economic self reliance in the East Africa region particularly in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethopia. The project had these four outcomes:

  1. Women and girls develop the knowledge and skills to ably influence decisions on their economic self- reliance.
  2. Women and girls groups have a voice through effective collective action at local level to improve economic self reliance.
  3. Women and girls utilize available information to improve their economic self reliance.
  4. Women and girls benefit from improved regulatory framework and business services for economic self reliance.
