Women at the peace table: Making a difference

This work examines various aspects of the importance of having women involved in peace talks. The first chapter looks at drawing on the strengths of the women’s movement in South Africa and Northern Ireland as well as negotiating equality during post conflict reconstruction. The second chapter deals with confronting discrimination and the question as to whether women make a difference. The third and final chapter covers the international community matching words with action and the challenges that lie ahead.
