Women’s Participation and Representation Reflections on the 2006 Zambia Tripartite Elections

This assessment was conducted in November 2006, two months after the Zambia Tripartite Elections (ZTE). it’s overall objective was to reflect on the 2006 ZTE from a gender perspective. The specific objectives were to identify factors that motivate women faced during the preparations ans campaign for the 2006 ZTE, and to document lesson learnt. Four out of the nine provinces of Zambia namely Central, Copperbelt, Luapula and Lusaka were included in the study.
