A regional teaching and learning programme for media coverage of the SADC region

This article1 provides an overview of media coverage in the Southern
Africa Development Community (SADC) in order to consider the
possibilities for a progressive curriculum within the context of
media education and training institutions in the region. It outlines
the draft curriculum that was envisaged as appropriate to this
challenging context.
