Gendered bodies and new technologies

the thesis assumes that gendered emobiment is a universal human experience. since new technologies call into question this basic premise, it is not an easy assumption to make. The intersection between real bodies and virtual technology is explored through the lens of gender and cyberfeminism, using visual images from television, advertisements, the internet, art works and cinema.
