ICT policy for civil society: training curriculum

This is a five-day online course with each session (or “moduleÀ) planned to last approximately 1.5 hours. The modules can be used stand-alone as training on a particular topic or used together as part of a longer course. As guidance the modules available in July 2003 are listed below in the order they are typically run for the five-day course.

ICT policy, global, regional and national
World summit on the information society
advocacy
gender and ICTs
internet basics
internet governance and regulation
internet rights and the right to communicate
universality and telecentres
intellectual property, open source and knowledge
social exclusion
security, civil liberties in the information age
media, content and language issues
