The objective of the article is to investigate into the definitions of diversity and the relationship between concerns for diversity and concerns for gender equality in six media companies from three countries (Sweden, the UK, the US). This is carried out primarily by means of an examination of diversity policies accessible via the company websites. The results are discussed in a context of multiculturalism and politics of representation.
