Nearly 17 years ago, at the age of 14, Kass Naidoo discovered her passion for cricket commentary after
listening to Barbadian Donna Symmonds during a triangular series involving West Indies, Pakistan and
South Africa. Up to that day Kass had felt excluded from the game of cricket, but hearing an informed
female voice calling the game instantly determined her life dream of becoming the first female cricket
commentator in South Africa. And so began an elevenyear journey that saw her immerse herself in cricket
through every means.
