The American playwright Arthur Miller commented “a
good newspaper is a nation talking to itself,À and in that
respect The Voice newspaper has spoken not just for
itself, but reflected the concerns and interests of our
readers. I don’t believe we would have survived, let
alone become the country’s most popular newspaper, if
that had not been the case. Other local newspapers,
who have been in this industry longer-in some cases
spanning over 21 years, would no doubt also subscribe
to Miller’s mantra. It is just that our Voice was different.
