Zimbabwe’s government media reforms cosmetic

This article explores recent media reforms undertaken by Zimbabwe’s coalition government, criticising them for their inability to address freedom of expression and gender equality in state and private media. Despite the creation of dozens of new media outlets,it is argued that Zimbabwe remains far from achieving its international and regional commitments around access to information and media freedom for all.
