Hwedza is located is located about 50 kilometres south of Marondera, and 127 kilometres south of Harare. Hwedza is well connected to other towns by tarred roads. Rusunzwe and Gandamasungo, the famous Hwedza mountain range, are some of the most outstanding geographical features in the district. The council has a dedicated Facebook page. Hwedza RDC is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming. The council is mentored by Murehwa RDC. |
