 Lusaka City council became a Centre of Excellence in gender mainstreaming in 2012. So far the council has completed or the 10 stages of the Gender mainstreaming module otherwise known as the COE process. Since the introduction of the Center of Excellence Process (COE), the council has demonstrated tremendous efforts and commitment in mainstreaming gender in all their programming.
