The “I” Stories Polygamy – The Heart of the Matter

The “I” Stories is a project of Gender Links (GL), in collaboration with partnering organisations, to share first hand accounts of women and men on gender issues. Annually, GL produces “I” Stories from survivours of gender violence for 16 Days of Activism; in 2005 GL also produced a collection of “I” Stories from South African local government councillors. This current collection – Polygamy: The heart of the matter – is the first of its kind sharing insights and stories from women, men and children of polygamous marriages.
