50/50 Policy Brief Zimbabwe

The Policy Brief concerns women’s participation and representation in key decision-making structures at local and national levels in Zimbabwe and makes the case for urgent action to achieve gender parity at all levels of political decision-making. As the country is amending the Constitution, it is an opportune time for local government to be included in the Constitution to ensure increased participation and representation of women at the local level in 2023 and beyond.
