Botswana: Botswana pledges commitment to the SADC protocol on Gender and Development

Gaborone, 17 August: The Government of Botswana has pledged to sign the revised SADC protocol on gender and development. This confirmation was made by the Vice president of Botswana Hon Mokgweetsi Masisi during the opening of the SADC Gender Protocol summit in Gaborone. Botswana remains one of the SADC member states yet to sign the SADC protocol on gender and development apart from Mauritius.
