SA: Young Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge

Johannesburg, 31 August: Gender Links and UN Women are calling for young women entrepreneurs between ages 20 and 30 from South Africa ,to share their voices through a competitive challenge on how they can best be supported by private sector and other key stakeholders/partners. Globally to-date there are 5000, companies that have signed on to Women Empowerment Principles www.weps.org and are continuously supporting businesses through Principle 5 (Enterprise Development, Supply Chain and Marketing Practices).

Private sector can support Young entrepreneur youth by invest in them.They can mentor up and coming Female entrepreneur and offer any advice they can.but ultimately women need funding for their business.

Help make women voice heard
As women,doing business or starting a business couldn’t be more challenging speak up in you see inequality in real life and support a cause that’s women related on social media.In addition, supporting individual is also an important way to help.Business Sector or other key they can support people who are willing to do the work and people who are serious about what they are doing they can even help them growing their business and mentor them.
