Gender Links and the Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance launched the Voice and Choice Barometer on Thursday 13 October. The Southern Africa Voice and Choice Barometer has eight chapters focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) including Menstrual Health, Family planning and Maternal Health , Adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (ASRHR), Safe abortion, HIV and AIDS, Gender-based violence, Harmful practices and Sexual diversity.
Anne Githuku Shongwe, Director of the UNAIDS Regional Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa was the guest of honour and she also wrote the Foreword for the Barometer .

We need to amplify women’s Voices and stand against GBV in all spheres. The New Normal showed that men also need to stand in the Gap and be in the fore front to eradicate both GBV and IPV
