Media Summit deadline extended until Thursday 21 July 2016

Gender Links (GL) and Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) are extending the deadline for submission of the Gender and Media awards 2016 summit submissions to Thursday 21 JULY 2016 following the overwhelming response from some countries and a slower response from others.

The deadline has been extended in the interest of fairness and to ensure there is equitable regional representation in all categories. All summit applicants who started their online applications  are also  encouraged to complete their applications and submit online.

The awards include an opportunity to present at the regional summit in Windhoek, Namibia and recognition of the efforts at the Gender and Media Summit Awards night.

Entries may be submitted for good media and institutional practices in the Print, Television, Radio, Photojournalism, Leadership and Institutional categories. ONLY online entries will be eligible.
