The ANC Women’s League in Mpumalanga yesterday said the ruling party was not ready for a female president. The league has thrown its weight behind President Jacob Zuma’s bid for a second term. Speaking at an announcement of its preferred top six candidates, provincial secretary Clara Ndlovu said they were “not prepared to have a female president” rule the country.
