Black River COE

Black River District Council was among the first Councils to become a Centre Of Excellence (COE). It has since gotten the Action Plan approved, and has approved a budget for gender based activities.

Black River is found in the Western Coast of Mauritius and has an area of 259 sqaure kilometers. Black River is also the third largest district in Mauritius and consist of 13 villages. Read the Institutional Profile of Black River here.
