Description: Maseru-Centre’s of excellence (COE) within the gender Links Lesotho are preparing for the in country summit scheduled for March 2013.The aim of the summit according to the Gender Links country Manager Malepota Mafeka is to afford community councils or COEs a platform to compete amongst themselves to showcase progress they have achieved on gender mainstreaming .
She said council activities are related to the SADC protocol as a result the summit will demonstrate which council has achieved goals. The summit is held annually will end up with a winner who will represent Lesotho at the regional summit to be held at Gender Links headquarters in Johannesburg later next year.
