PHASE ONE EXPERT GROUP THINK TANK MEETING REPORT AND AMENDED WORK PLAN FOR PHASE TWO AND THREE

UN Women, the SADC Gender Unit and Gender Links (GL) convened a two day meeting from 14-15 February 2011 to deliberate on “costing” implementation of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Gender Protocol. This involved: analysing the regionÀŸs national gender policies for alignment with the SADC Gender Protocol; canvassing with gender machineries to get buy in on the process of aligning national gender action plans with the SADC Gender Protocol and lobbying for costing the implementation of the activities.
