Dec 2 – Sexual orientation and GBV

Gender Links joins forces with the The AIDS Consortium in Partnership with Sci-Bono, Ile-de-France, Gauteng MEC of Health and the Embassy of France in South Africa on launch of A Better Tomorrow: AIDS, Hope is born out of Research in Johannesburg.

Gender Links will contribute to this event by adding to the dialogue on sexual orientation and gender based violence. Danny Glenwright, Communications Manager of Gender Links, will present on Media inciting gender based violence: Cases in Uganda and Malawi. Fikile Zilakazi, Director, Coalition of African Lesbians will present on Gender based violence against the lesbian community.
