Montreal Massacre: National Day of rememberance

This day is commemorated in Canada each December 6, the anniversary of the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre, in which 14 young women were murdered by a lone man who declared his hatred of feminists. He left behind a note that included a list of prominent Canadian feminists whom he planned to kill.
