The attached report presents the findings of the Gender and Media Audience Study (GMAS) conducted by Gender Links (GL) in partnership with Eduardo Mondlane University (EMU). It is the first comprehensive study of audience news consumption patterns and preferences in Mozambique generally, as well as the gender dimensions of these.
The findings are based on the responses of 86 women and 87 men, a total sample of 173 from Maputo city and
Matola district.
