Gender and media audience study: Swaziland

The attached report presents the findings of the Swaziland Gender and Media Audience Study (GMAS)conducted by Gender Links (GL) in partnership with the University of Swaziland. It is the first comprehensivestudy of audience news consumption patterns and preferences in Swaziland generally, as well as the gender dimensions of these.

The findings are based on the responses of 88 women and 91 men, a total sample of 179 from Mbabane,
Manzini and Pigg’s Peak.
